What I do at Gappify

  • Develop and lead a team of exceptional SDRs. 
  • Hire high-potential SDRs and onboard them effectively to drive early success in the role. 
  • Foster a positive and collaborative culture that inspires teamwork, achievement, and professional development. 
  • Train the SDR team to identify prospective accounts that fit Gappify's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and get in contact with key personas within the organization to jumpstart the sales cycle for Gappify's Account Executives. 
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to improve team prospecting skills, objection-handling tactics, and product knowledge to maintain a team of high-performing SDRs. 
  • Report on individual and team-level performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. 
  • Develop & analyze team cadences, messaging, and talk tracks to increase conversion rates.
  • Work in collaboration with internal marketing stakeholders to execute effective sales campaigns to convert inbound interest into pipeline and generate demand through compelling sales assets. 

Who am I?

I started out my career as an SDR at a larger organization with well-developed sales & marketing functions. As a Senior SDR, I was a top performer each quarter (quota attainment, pipeline generated & pipeline influenced), but it wasn't always that way. I found it challenging at first to gain confidence, understand the bigger impact I could make in the role, and where I should focus my outbound efforts to be successful. One of my SDR managers had a significant impact on unlocking my potential. She worked to understand my motivations, my strengths, repeatedly dedicated time to work with me on my areas of opportunity, and arguably most importantly - she treated me as a uniquely valuable contributor to the team and not a number. The impact this manager had on me in my first role is a large part of why I made a career out of SDR management. I hope to have a similar impact on each entry-level sales professional I have had & will have in the future on my team. 

During my time as an SDR manager at a more established organization, I validated my passion for coaching and developing SDRs, however, realized I wanted to tackle a greater challenge of building a sales development function from the ground up. Over the past 2+ years, I've found an even greater passion for my role in the startup environment. It's exhilarating to me to be a part of a team responsible for wide-scale impact on our business and it keeps me motivated to lead my team towards organizational goals. I'm excited to look back in the years to come on the impact the entire Gappify sales team and I have had on the Company and am inspired to think about the potential we have with such an intelligent, hard-working, and collaborative team.
